Chest Ultrasound Sydney
Harbour Radiology provides an extensive range of high quality bulk billed ultrasound imaging including chest ultrasounds. Chest ultrasound scans use no radiation and instead utilise high frequency sound waves to image the soft tissue structures surrounding your chest, including tendons, muscles and for visualisation of lumps.
The scan does not require any invasive imaging as the ultrasound probe is run across the outside of the area being examined.
We also offer Ultrasound guided biopsy and aspirations for further diagnosis or treatment of lumps. Please speak to your referring practitioner when discussing the results to check if this is appropriate for your ongoing management and for a referral which is required for this procedure.
